Our Services
We offer a board and training package for Hunters and Jumpers that focuses on preparing horses and riders for high level competition in both the Ontario and Quebec circuits.
For us, success is defined as the development of a solid partnership between horse and rider, and achieving continuous improvement in both skills and confidence. Each program is carefully constructed to build the fundamental skills required by both horse and rider.
Our mission is to share in our love for horses and passion for the sport. Learning should be a motivating and rewarding experience that includes short and long term goals. Through our personalized service, students maximize riding time to reach their full potential. This can only be achieved in a safe environment while respecting the horse.
Our team of professional and qualified staff, are dedicated to providing a safe and fun environment for the education of our riders and the exceptional care of our horses.
Lessons
Whether you ride for pleasure and wish to hone your skills or are preparing for any level of competition, from schooling to A-shows; we offer multiple lesson packages that focuses on keeping the fun in the sport while pushing you to that next level!

Boarding
Services offered to all boarders
- Water tanks, heated during winter
- Access to tack room with view on indoor arena
- Heated tack room during winter
- Access to outdoor and indoor arenas
- Outdoor shower
- Both arenas harrowed weekly
- Trails as we make them and sifted tracks in the fields during winter
- Coordination of third party services (Vet, farrier, masso, chiro and more)
Outdoor Boarding
- Good quality unlimited hay
- Grain fed 1x/day
- Access to shelters
Indoor Boarding
- Good quality hay
- Grain fed 2x/day
- Individual or group turnout
- Individual feed program
- Blanketing & booting

Lyra Farm is led by Valérie Bourbonnais et Jason Lauzon Couvillon
Valérie Bourbonnais
Valérie has reached the level of rider recognized by Equestrian Canada and has more than 14 years of experience in the equestrian field, She intends to complete her trainer level certification shortly. In addition, she would like to pass the required certifications to add an equi-therapy component to the farm.
Jason Lauzon Couvillon
Jason has more than 14 years of experience in the field of equestrianism. He has been to Quebec Equestrian Games multiple times and currently competes at the national level in the 1.30m+ jumpers. He also intends to complete her trainer level certification shortly. He has started many young horses.
